Aerotek Maintenance Technician in Anderson, South Carolina


-Have a strong understanding of 3 phase power, transformers, motors, control wiring and a basic understanding of PLC logic and how it applies to troubleshooting.

-Advanced knowledge of hand/power tools needed to perform the job

-Understand how to use multi-meters and meggers

-Responsible for material takeoff and lead on projects

-Efficient in the installation of rigid/IMC conduit and electrical circuits

-Troubleshoot and make repairs to facility and process equipment

-Experience with mechanical tasks: change bearings, rollers, belts, understand pneumatics

-Understand the difference between a leaky cylinder and a bad valve

-Understand how an air cylinder works, values for an air cylinder and values, cirbo drives, VFD's, etc.

-Troubleshoot issues with valves, sensors, shorts, wiring, etc.

7-10 years of related experience in the field

---To submit a candidate with 7 years, they will have to be really good and confident about the work that they do.

---Will need High school Diploma/GED

---Need to have a strong mechanical aptitude, such as: change motors, bearings, pneumatic, vacuums etc.
