Functions as a technology leader for implementing Solar PV technology and engineering strategy. Provides insight and influence in developing strategy to align with customers, market, and overall BV technology strategy. Has significant influence for scope of responsibilities within division. Responsible for execution of assigned projects.
Functions as technology leader for Behind-The-Meter Solar PV, including development and implementation of technology strategy.
Manages scope, schedule, and budget for projects directly managed
Coordinates and prepares client deliverables, including solution development for proposal responses
Actively coordinates with all internal/external team members
Communicates client interests and drivers to project team members and develops approaches to accommodate these concerns
Routinely leads client interactions and presentations
Identifies project risks and issues, advises project leadership, and offers mitigative/corrective solutions
Recognized by the Division as having in-depth knowledge within Solar PV practice area
Actively supports knowledge management within practice area
Authors and presents technical papers
Advises and provides subject matter expertise to project team in practice area on study assignments and EPC assignments
May manage and supervise a team and associated resources
Leads business development or pursuit activities within practice area
Manages development of comprehensive practice area proposals
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or professional degree in Sciences in area of expertise preferred with specialist training, or experience that uniquely qualifies the individual to perform the job responsibilities
In-depth knowledge of National Electric Code and International Building Code
Master Electrician’s License
Industry recognized credentials preferred as may be available and potentially necessary for job function
North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) PV Installation Professional Certification.
A minimum total of 8 years of related work experience is typically necessary to move into this level. Graduate work may count as related work experience if directly applicable to job function. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
