Our Columbia, SC Office is hiring a Survey Crew Chief.

Responsibilities:

  • Read and understand survey notes, sketches, maps, deeds, as-builts, construction plans and drawings and records.

  • Use appropriate survey equipment, conventional, GPS/GNSS and or laser scanning, to efficiently and accurately perform wide range of field survey procedures.

  • Take survey field notes, sketches and other written records on a daily basis.

  • Perform QA/QC to verify that the data complies with the project requirements.

  • Perform basic maintenance of the survey field equipment.

  • Keep survey field vehicle in good condition.

  • Understand and follow all applicable safety procedures.

  • This position will require travel.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma and 2 years of related surveying experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

  • Valid driver's license
