Job Description

Looking for an experienced an experienced Grading Foreman for a full-time position in our Production Division. Will be working in locations both in South Carolina and North Carolina. Experience in Landscaping necessary. MUST BE ABLE TO OPERATE SKID STEER EFFICIENTLY and BE ABLE TO PASS DOT PHYSICAL TO DRIVE FOR COMPANY.

Average 50 hours a week. $1,000 signing bonus offered ($500 on the first check and additional $500 after 90 day introductory period is complete)

Knowledge/Skills Required:

• MUST KNOW HOW TO OPERATE SKID STEER

• Must be proficient in fine grading to + - .10 inch with laser

• Must be proficient with set up and use of laser for fine grading and transferring grades

• Knowledge in grades ( pad preps, mono slabs, rough and maintenance grades)

• Safety Regulations (OSHA and DOT)

• Efficient in grade shots

• Efficient in reading grade plans

Requirements:

• Current Valid Drivers License

• DOT Medical Certificate (should be able to obtain)

Responsibilities/Job Description:

• Operates machines for ground leveling. (Grades)

• Operates backhoe and front end loaders as required.

• Operates various equipment for general site preparation, landscaping, snow removal, and related assignments.

• Performs routine inspection and maintenance on machinery and vehicles such as checking oil, water, and tires.

• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.

• May lead, guide, and train staff, employees, and/or volunteers performing related work.

• May perform curb markings, striping operations, and/or other pavement markings as required.

• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
