Position : Plumber

Location : North Charleston, SC

ASRC Federal Field Services is seeking an experienced Plumber to support our FLETC contract in Charleston, SC.

Under the direction of the Facilities Operations Manager, the Plumber will provide a wide range of plumbing support services across the 200 acre property. Qualified candidates will have a wide breadth of plumbing knowledge and have proven experience installing, maintaining, and repairing indoor and outdoor plumbing systems at large facilities.


  • Assembles, installs, and repairs pipes, fittings, and fixtures of heating, water, and drainage systems according to specifications and plumbing codes.

  • Cuts openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.

  • Uses a variety of hand tools and power tools.

  • Cuts and threads pipe using pipe cutters and cutting torch.

  • Assembles, installs and repairs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, commodes, bathtubs, water heaters, hot water tanks, garbage disposals dishwashers and water softeners.

  • Repairs and maintains plumbing by replacing washers in leaky faucets, mending burst pipes, and opening clogged drains and toilets.

  • May have other additional duties as assigned.


  • 5 years of experience as a plumber.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Must be a US or Naturalized Citizen.

  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

  • Must be able to pass a background investigation and pass a drug and physical exam.

  • Must have a valid SC Driver's License.

Work schedule is Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm.
