HII-Camber is currently seeking a qualified person to fill the role of Construction Management Support at Shaw, AFB, SC . This position is contingent upon contract award.
The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide advice for coordinating communication requirements with the Construction Management Offices (CMOs) and A7 agencies throughout the USCENTCOM AOR.
Analyze new construction being managed by the CMOs and provide guidance as a coordination cell between the CMOs, the local communications squadron commanders at the applicable locations, and the USAFCENT/A6 staff at Shaw AFB SC and AUAB. Coordinate with lateral agencies in regards to project logistics, personnel, and maintenance issues.
Conduct in-depth review of Military Construction (MILCON) project documentation such as technical specifications, architectural drawing, site laydown plans, and electrical and mechanical systems design details and provide detailed design configuration, integration, and technical guidance. Document changes and fix actions for MILCON projects with the appropriate CMO and A7 agencies throughout the AOR.
Provide program management expertise for planning the expansion of the base cable plant to cover any new construction ensuring all outside and inside plant cabling (fiber and copper) is inclusive and complete.
Deploy as required to provide on-site advice and assistance at deployment locations throughout the USCENTCOM AOR to verify the construction building wiring is completed in accordance with accepted USAF standards.
Provide advice and assistance to Cyberspace Systems Integrator-Deployable (CSI-D) engineers to ensure configuration control and coordination of planned infrastructure into the Base Blueprint.
Provide the expertise required to facilitate managing communications logistical support issues for longrange projects and assist with management of quality control and quality assurance products throughout project lifespan.
Provide management expertise for Engineering and Installation (EI) project requirements.
Prepare and review documents and authoritative guidance for A6 leadership.
Prepare and document Task Management Tool (TMT) inputs and corrective actions to include detailed design configuration, integration, and timeline products.
Prepare and conduct briefings utilizing automated programs such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Corel Draw, Microsoft Projects, & Microsoft Office.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering or Information Systems and five years equivalent work experience, or ten years of experience with communication systems installation and MILCON programs and a 2 year degree in a technical communications field. (Following KSA experience time requirements can be concurrent with this KSA time requirement).
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience with systems and resources associated with building construction projects affecting communication infrastructures.
Minimum of two years’ experience with program management at the numbered AF/Component Command Equivalent Staff level or higher.
Minimum of one year experience in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Must have and maintain a valid U.S. passport
Candidate must possess TS/SCI Clearance
