Primary function of a Project Controls/Scheduler:
Work with project team(s) to develop and maintain resource loaded project schedules and earned value tracking for cost, resources & commodities.
Work with estimators, project team(s) and subcontractors to develop resource loaded baseline project schedules.
Update and maintain working schedules through project life cycle, verifying schedule integrity through each cycle.
Perform job-site walks to verify physical progress of scheduled activities.
Develop, maintain and provide cash flows, curves and other earned value reporting based on estimates and schedule resource loading, per project requirements.
Analyze / assess impacts to the project utilizing Critical Path Methodology (CPM). Make recommendations on float mitigation, based on sequencing, resource availability and constructability.
Participate in project scheduling and/ or interactive planning meetings as required by the project team.
Prepare and review billings to clients.
Review subcontractor invoices for verification of progress validity.
Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum 5 years project controls / scheduling experience
Proficient with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Suite, with particular expertise in Microsoft Excel. Microsoft Project experience a plus
Experience with cash flows and Earned Value Management (EVM) processes and tracking
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Focus on details is a must
